Cleanup kits are available for those who are dealing with water in their homes. The kits, provided by the American Red Cross, contain work gloves, rubber gloves, a scrubbing sponge, plastic bags, mop, scrub brush, squeegee, and a cleaning and disinfecting solution. The kits are available at the following locations:

• Sheriff’s Office in the Courthouse: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Lake Park City Hall: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
• Superior City Hall: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, Wednesday from 9:00am to noon
• Terril Fire Station: Contact Fire Chief Tim Matthews at 712-260-1987

The kits are free of charge and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Qualifying plow-income households in Dickinson County may also apply for additional assistance.

Additionally there is a local volunteer organization that is will to assist individuals who are unable to perform clean-up measures themselves.
