The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed project on U.S. 71 from Okoboji Grove Road in Arnolds Park to East View Avenue in Okoboji.
The project includes removing and replacing the existing pavement. Many of the existing sidewalks will be replaced. The existing decorative lighting throughout the project corridor will be used as constructed. This project is currently programmed for Fiscal Year 2023.
The Iowa DOT is providing two online meeting formats for public input: live and at your own pace. If you do not have access to the internet, or need assistance viewing the materials, please contact the DOT representative listed below.
Live online meeting:

How to Attend: At the meeting time, navigate to www.iowadot.gov/pim select the project and click on the “live meeting” link.
Description: The study team will deliver a presentation to describe the proposed project, followed by a live question and answer session with the project team. Questions submitted can only be typed into the chat box and will be read by the moderator and answered by the project team.
At your own pace online meeting: Date/Time: Anytime between March 30 – April 12, 2021

Description: Experience a self-guided tour of the proposed project and submit comments and questions at any time during the comment period.
