On Tuesday, October 25, 2022 Alliant Energy is planning to perform some maintenance on local facilities. There is a planned power outage for many City of Okoboji customers scheduled for 10:00am that is expected to last one hour. Alliant Energy should have already notified affected customers. Water Tower Maintenance
Residents will notice crews repainting the Okoboji water tower over the next 2 to 4 weeks. Due to potential condensation issues during the application of paint it must be drained. With this being said, residents may experience lower water pressure.
Post-Labor Day Garbage Pick Up Schedule
Just as a reminder, between Labor Day and Memorial Day garbage is now only picked up one time per week. Garbage pick up day is on Monday for the entire City.
