Planned Power Outage

On Tuesday, October 25, 2022 Alliant Energy is planning to perform some maintenance on local facilities. There is a planned power outage for many City of Okoboji customers scheduled for 10:00am that is expected to last one hour. Alliant Energy should have already notified affected customers.  For questions, please contact Alliant Energy at 800-255-4268.

Water Tower Maintenance

Residents will notice crews repainting the Okoboji water tower over the next 2 to 4 weeks. Due to potential condensation issues during the application of paint it must be drained. With this being said, residents may experience lower water pressure.  

Post-Labor Day Garbage Pick Up Schedule

Just as a reminder, between Labor Day and Memorial Day garbage is now only picked up one time per week. Garbage pick up day is on Monday for the entire City.
